Pastor Bugingo Shows Rare Emotion as He Speaks About His Children in Touching Church Message

In a rare moment of vulnerability, Pastor Aloysious Bugingo has publicly expressed his longing for his four children from his previous marriage to Teddy Naluswa.

Speaking during a recent sermon at House of Prayer Ministries International, Bugingo delivered a heartfelt message that caught many by surprise.

The outspoken preacher took the time to mention each of his children by name — Gift Noreen, Winnie Treasure, Jennifer Blessed, and Isaac Miracle Bugingo — sharing his hope that he might one day reunite with them for a family meal.

“I named my son Isaac as a symbol of promise, much like Abraham in the Bible. At that point, I only had daughters, and his birth felt like an answered prayer. I pray that wherever you are, God protects you,” Bugingo said to his congregation, his tone heavy with emotion.

The pastor’s message is being seen as a shift in tone, considering his previously strained relationship with his children following a very public split from Teddy Naluswa. Bugingo moved on with his current partner, Susan Makula, and his fallout with Teddy was marked by bitter exchanges, some of which impacted his children.

Over the years, it was reported that Bugingo had been largely absent from his children’s lives, missing milestones like graduations and birthdays. But this new expression of paternal affection is sparking speculation.

Some online commenters half-joked that Makula’s “spell” might be wearing off, hinting that the pastor is beginning to see things more clearly. Others suggested that Bugingo’s fatherly instincts may be reawakening, particularly given reports that he has not fathered children with Makula.

As of now, it’s unclear whether Bugingo has made any personal contact with his children, but his public appeal may mark the beginning of a reconciliation process
