Pastor Bugingo Breaks Silence on Fertility Struggles, Asks Church to Pray for Susan
The lead pastor of House of Prayer International Ministries, Aloysious Bugingo, has called on his congregation to pray for his wife, Susan Makula, to conceive. In a recent sermon, Bugingo expressed that he has faced mockery for not having a child with Makula.
He mentioned that this issue has also become a worry for Makula. Nonetheless, the pastor reassured her not to be overly concerned, as he believes God’s timing is always perfect and he feels no urgency regarding the matter.
Bugingo stated that he communicated to Makula that his well-being and happiness are of utmost importance. He added that if having a child would disrupt their happiness, then they can postpone that decision.
About his ex-wife, Teddy Naluswa, and their children, the controversial pastor highlighted how some mothers team up with their kids to create distress for the father, which is something he wishes to avoid.
“People have mocked and belittled me for not having a child with Makula. However, I remind them that my happiness and health are what truly matter. If a child were to come and disrupt the joy in my home, I don’t desire that. Certain women will work with their children to make your life difficult. Therefore, for my mental well-being, I prefer our situation as it is, believing that a child will eventually come in God’s time,” the Pastor remarked.
Bugingo then encouraged his followers to join him in prayer for his wife to conceive twins. He expressed his desire for both he and his wife to be leaving the maternity ward with a child in their arms.
It’s worth noting that Bugingo has four children with his ex-wife, Naluswa, while Makula has one child from a previous relationship. The couple has been together for several years, facing various scandals, yet they have not yet had their own child.
