The Friday night heavy rains left Mubende party animals shaking their heads cursing the downpour after preventing them from attending the Don Tyaba’s “Tudeyo Mukikadde” music show at Leba Restaurant.
The much-anticipated event that had sensational singer Eddy Yawe and the Legendary Afrigo Band on the menu failed again due to heavy rains that started around 8 pm and continued to late hours leaving revellers purporting that Tyaba was bewitched by heaters.
“This is the first time I have experienced such rain just hours before the music show here in Mubende. The rain started so early around 8 pm I thought it was going to rain for a few hours. But it was unfortunate. I think some haters didn’t want Don Tyaba to succeed from this show,” a reveller told Mubende Post.
This was the third time for the music group, Afrigo Band coming to Mubende to thrill their fans. The first Event was successful. However, the second edition of Tugende Mukikadde fans didn’t get what they expected after drunkard artists failed to perform.
Due to anger left in the partygoers and the desire to restore the reputation of the Afrigo Band as well as that of the organizer, Don Tyaba Events decided to reschedule the concert for Friday 16/08/2024 at a reduced entrance fee but the rain ruined all the anticipations.
According to Don Tyaba Events CEO, Mr Tyaba, the event aimed to win his fans’ hearts for not getting what they expected from the previous event.
However, Don Tyaba exposed his pain and agony to Mubende Post after getting out of words on what to explain to the revellers after a back-to-back show failure.
