MUBENDE: Madudu Subcounty councilor to the district council, Ndagizemaana Steven’s controversies end in the mouths of propagandists.
Steven who is eyeing the parliament seat for Buweekula County in the upcoming elections has denied allegations that he received millions of money from Tindimwebwa Teopista to rally for her support to win Mubende district woman Member of parliament come 2026 general elections.
Rumours had erupted that Steven received over One Million Ugandan shillings from Teopista to be her mobilizer.
However, during a talk show on Mubende FM, Steven denied the allegations saying whoever was saying that was spreading false information.
“I said that she should be supported to pass the NRM primary elections and meet with my party candidate, Nanyanzi Felister for the seat, in the general elections come 2026, but I am not saying I ate money,” Ndagizemaana said.
He added that the biggest problem is that people use their phones as they think without consulting themselves about what to do next.
“Some people use their phones just fwaaaaa… because they have bought some small data. They spread everything they hear whether true or false because they want to show their bosses that they are working. But we know them and that’s why we give them less time,” Steven added.
Meanwhile, when reached by Mubende Post, Tindimwebwa Teopista clarified that she has never paid Steven to campaign for her. She further blasted critics saying they’re looking for cheap popularity.
