“The main aim of these awards is to motivate our players to keep improving their performances on Buweekula Ssaza FC and to yawn for more in their football career.

“We started this not because we have a lot of money or because we are the oldest people in Mubende but because we saw a gap that we believed we could fill and that’s why these awards are into life today,” Mr Kyanjo Dennis, The Elders Chairperson said during the ceremony.

Kaz Lounge & Kitchen as main sponsors of this year’s awards revealed that their support for Buweekula FC won’t stop at the awards.

“We thank those who brought the idea. When they came to us, we decided to join hands with them to make this ceremony a success. As Kaz Lounge we will always be available to welcome such ideas and will continue doing our best as far as supporting Buweekula Ssaza FC is concerned,” Director of Kaz Lounge & Kitchen, Mr Jonathan said.

The ceremony attracted several Buweekula fans and politicians including hopeful Mubende Municipality MP Deo Masembe Mujabi who awarded each winner with cash and promised to support the team in any way possible.
