Members of PFF in Mubende says headless rhetoric will not distract them from their goal of changing the leadership of the country
Party members from Mubende, Mityana, Kasanda, Kiboga and Kyankwanzi districts at the Pride Travelers Hotel in Mubende met with the PFF spokesperson and Kira municipality MP Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda.
The FDC Katonga faction met with members in five districts of greater mubende who Handed over signatures for the registration of their new Peoples front for Freedom PFF, collected in each district.
Over the final signatures collected from these districts 50 each as required by the law to the party spokesperson.
Honarable ssemujju while receiving the signatures said that as soon as their party is registered they will strive to see them recover the Mubende district as it has been known for supporting the ruling National resistance movement.
He also reminded the people of Mubende about the poor services in their areas saying this is due to leaders who do not care about the people.
“If you look at the MP Ibrahim Ssemujju and Mubende you don’t see any difference, what do you mean Mubende people want their MPs to go to parliament and look at their colleagues when they are negotiating?? when it’s election time they come back and buy them dishes, spoons and saucepans and they give them votes again?.” Hon ssemujju said
According to Julius Luyima, the head of the signatures collection, they were able to obtain the necessary signatures by following all the requests.
However, says they faced challenges because some of the requirements for a signature are strict.
Some of the party members in the five districts we spoke to are furious, saying they will continue to spread the party’s gospel to ensure they get more support in the upcoming 2026 elections. Other party members say that ethics and complete avoidance of propaganda that causes division of parties, will not open their mouths.
They urged all revolutionaries to join them in changing the leadership of the country as a whole so that they can bring power to the people.
