Mubende: The Security in Mubende has rejected the Touching Lives Initiative’s, plans of donating to poor which was to be implemented in Madudu and surroundings
The team led by pafuladito Kyeyune Bazirondere the chairman NUP Kunga Mubende were stopped on the way by security operatives and all roads to Madudu were blocked.
They are unhappy with the action taken by the security forces, preventing them from delivering basic necessities to the people, yet they are well aware that the conditions of the people they are going through these days are hard.
In a meeting with journalist Pafuladito kyeyune who is running for the district chairmanship said these have the games of security in the NRM government and hopeful that they are waiting for security to give them a date for their safe delivery of the items.
“We are now waiting for the date to be given by the security forces ,and I ask all people who have been traveling to get these items to be patient and believe that we have the items in abundance and will reach at them anytime”. Pafuladito said.
Pafuladito also said that they have a big plan to help everyone in need around the whole district of Mubende, although they still have tensions with the security forces.
The team had also been joined by officials from other NGOs likes of Mulwana Florence ,who said the security forces had done the wrong thing to prevent the items from being delivered to the people and asked them to allow them to deliver the aid to the people.
The hopeful beneficiaries who were gathered in Ngabano Town in Madudu to receive the item, condemned the actions of the security agencies as many of them were forced to return home with their belongings.
The items that were to be given out includes, second hand clothes, food, jerrycans, saucepans and other basic needs with cash money.
