MUBENDE: District Woman Member of Parliament Honorable Hope Grania Nakazibwe Liberation Day Football & Netball Tournament will Climax today, Friday, January 24, 2025, at Kasaana Playground in the heart of Mubende Town.
The sports galas that had participants from different counties across Mubende District constituencies commenced in the Buweekula South constituency earlier this month.
According to MP Nakazibwe, the main aim of the tournament was to succour the youth to discover their talents and create awareness about NRM values as a prior Liberation Day celebration among the Youth in Mubende District.
The Hope Grania Football and Netball tournament has reached the semifinal stage, and the draws were conducted at Muteesa I Royal University, Mubende.
The First Semifinal will have Buweekula Constituency playing against the celebrated Kasambya Constituency on Friday at exactly 9:00 am at Kasaana Play Ground.
Buweekula South Constituency and Mubende Municipality will face off in the second Semi-Final at the same venue on the same day at 11:00 Am.
The winner from Semi-final one and second Semifinal will play in the final with the losers battling in the 3rd Playoff Match (Losers match) on Friday at 1:00 pm.
The anticipated final match will kick start at 3:00 pm at the renowned Kasaana Playground.
