CHARITY MATCH: Buweekula vs Buddu | Sunday 23, 2025, at Kasenyi Play Ground, Mubende at 3:00 pm.
THE HIGHLY anticipated ‘Save Nabutono’ fundraising match is set to take place on Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Kasenyi Play Ground in Mubende, with a 3:00 PM kick-off.
Originally scheduled for Sunday, February 16th, 2025, the event was postponed due to its collusion with the Luweekula Cup opener in Kiyuni, Buweekula. However, organizers are determined to make the rescheduled match a huge success.
The match will see Buweekula Ssaza FC Cream take on the Buddu Ssaza FC Cream, in a charity game aimed at mobilizing funds to support the covering up of hospital bills to save Masaza Cup champion Nsubuga Martin Nabutono’s life.

The young footballer is battling a deadly Tetanus after stepping on a nail during training with his club Katida FC. Nabutono is in the Intensive Care Unit at Roswell Specialist Hospital in Kampala fighting for his life.

The postponement of the charity match in Mubende gives both teams and the organising committee enough time to even have master preparations ahead of Sunday’s match.
Organisers are encouraging as many people as possible to attend the game and the raffle to show their support.
