Reports coming in onto Mubende Post news desk reveal that Buweekula Ssaza Ssabavubuka Owek. Bwale Tom has taken over the Buweekula Ssaza Football Team as the new Team Manager.
According to our reliable sources, Bwale Tom who has been yawning to have the Buweekula Ssaza football team in his hands convinced his boss Owek: Luweekula Andrew Mukasa Ssempijja that he can do a better job and help Buweekula reach the dream that they have dreamt of since 2004 come true.
This happened in a secret meeting that happened lately featuring Luweekula and his Lukiiko where a final resolution was made to have Hajji Ssebulime out of their plans this year.
HOW IT STARTED?
In the previous two seasons, there have been key mouthpieces on Luweekula’s Lukiiko who has always back bitten Hajji Ssebulime during his regime as Buweekula Ssaza FC team manager.
The likes of Buuza, and Matovu among others felt disappointed after Ssebulime dismissed them from the Committee in 2023 over alleged embezzlement of the team’s funds during the 2022 season.
Since then, they have been not seeing eye to eye.
During the 2024 season report submission before Luweekula, it was revealed that the team spent over 440M with Ssebulime single-handed injecting over 190M. This shocked many on the Lukiiko with some laughing in tongues doubting and terming the report “FAKE*.
When Bwale Tom showed interest, the excited Matovu, Buuza, and others on Luweekula Lukiiko trusted Hajji Ssebulime and backed him with anticipations that they would be officially back on the Buweekula Ssaza football team committee and start eating big again.
WHY HAJJI RAJAB SSEBULIME CHOSE TO LET IT GO?
Hajji Ssebulime was a backbench funder of Buweekula since 2021.
He fronted his face in 2023.
Hajji Ssebulime has been team manager for Buweekula Ssaza FC for the previous two seasons helping Buweekula reach Quarter Finals losing to 2022 champions Bulemeezi.
In 2024, Hajji injected over 190M in Buweekula Ssaza FC with efforts to win the Ssaza’s first Masaza Cup title but all his efforts were ruined by Kyaggwe who won 2-1 on aggregate and later lost to Buddu in the final at Namboole.
With all the efforts and funding of the team using his cash expecting no profits, in the handover meeting earlier this year, Hajji Ssebulime requested Luweekula and a few members of his Lukiiko to visit and have lunch meals with him, his wife Hajjati, and other members of his family with a concept of further discussions on aftermaths of the 2024 season and the way forward of Buweekula Ssaza FC for 2025.
However, Luweekula and his Lukiiko who misinterpreted Ssebulime’s statement, trushed the idea with some of them accusing him of disrespecting Luweekula.
After Luweekula failed to honour his invitation, Hajji Ssebulime chose to let it go.

He is born in Kasambya, Mubende District.
Bwale Tom recently bought St Suzan Second School.
He is a football person who has been funding amateur football events in Kasambya for a while under his Bwale Tom foundation.
Bwale Tom’s real source of income is still a mystery.
