Earlier this week, Mubende Post published a story revealing that Luweekula, Owek: Andrew Mukasa Ssempijja and his Lukiiko had appointed Ssabavubuka Bwale Tom as the new Buweekula Ssaza FC boss replacing Hajji Rajab Ssebulime.
The inside source from Luweekula Lukiiko confirmed Bwale’s appointment to Mubende Post but requested anonymity.
However, in a meeting with the Fans today, Friday, February 28, 2025, at Buweekula Ssaza Lukiiko Hall at Kaweeri, Luweekula refuted all the claims, saying they have not appointed anyone or formed a committee to run the team.
“We haven’t appointed anyone or released the committee to run Buweekula Ssaza Football Club. Doors are open, anyone interested should submit his or her request in writing,” Luweekula Andrew Mukasa Ssempijja addressed the Fans.
“The three years term that was given out to Hajji Rajab Ssebulime ended and he handed over to Luweekula. So, now Luweekula and his Lukiiko will sit and choose a new team of committee members who will run the Ssaza Team this year,” Ms Nampala said.

With disappointment in his face, Bwale Tom denied his appointment as team manager.
“I don’t about that reports, I don’t know about that reported committee,” Bwale Tom told the fans.
However, despite Luweekula and his Lukiiko’s submission, fans insist they won’t entertain the appointment of people they once witnessed embezzling Ssaza Teams money.
“If they bring those on the leaked committee, we will beat them. Let them not fool us, we know them very well. They embezzled our money in the 2022 season. We can’t entertain them on the team way,” Different fans repeated the statement several times.
After Luweekula’s statement and his Lukiiko, Liam Nathan, who reported the story insisted that his source is reliable about all the stories he reported. He insists that time will tell it all.
“I trust my source; Luweekula and is just fighting to jump out of the burning fire. The information is uncovered by the very people on his Lukiiko. The meeting they had last week and all the resolutions in the past meetings are on my desk. But in all time will tell it all. Let me hope, they won’t eat their own vomites,” Liam Nathan said.
