Mubende Municipality Aspiring MP Sureman Segawa Secures 50 University Bursaries

The Aspiring Member of Parliament for Mubende Municipality, Hon. Ismael Segawa AKA Sureman, has secured over 50 university bursaries to benefit students intending to join universities.

The 50 Full bursaries have been secured at St Lawrence University-SLAU and Metropolitan University in Kampala for S6 and S4 leavers in Mubende Municipality who wish to continue with Academics. Each of the universities will cater for 20 and 30 students respectively.

According to a statement from the MP’s office, those who wish to continue with Arts studies will be given full bursaries, while those for the sciences will take half bursaries

Sureman Segawa says those who will join Metropolitan University will be given a full scholarship, meaning that they will be required to provide only scholastic materials and accommodation for themselves.

Some of the arts fields include Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Education in both primary and Secondary, among others.
