Kassanda Man Ends His Wife’s Life in Cold Blood

The territorial Police in Kassanda are actively investigating the murder of Busingye Jennifer, a 48year old and resident of Ndaiga village, Makokoto Sub County, Kassanda district.

Reports indicate that the now fallen Jenniffer was murdered by her husband, identified as Mutungi Godfrey, a village defence chairperson of Ndaiga village, Makokoto sub-county, Kassanda district, and also a resident of the same address of about 55 years of age.

Preliminary findings indicate that the deceased was a wife to Mutungi Godfrey, and they have 14 children together.

According to SP Racheal Kawala, the police spokesperson for Wamala Region, on the night of April 16, 2025, while at their home in Ndaiga village, the couple developed a Misunderstanding; they allegedly locked themselves inside their house and started a fight that resulted in the death of Busingye.

Racheal told Mubende Post that according to the findings, the suspect stabbed Busingye multiple times on the face, the chest, and on the head using a knife, and he after fled the scene.

Unfortunately, the victim breathed her last while being rushed to medical attention.

Mubende Post understands that the body of the deceased was taken to Kassanda Health Center IV for postmortem as investigations continue to ensure the suspect (husband) is brought to book.
