Buwekula Mp Aspirant Spends Days in Hospital, Narrates How He Escaped Death Trap.

Mubende: The Buwekula Aspiring Member of Parliament Steven Ndagizimana spends nights at Mubende Regional referral Hospital after a serious assault by unknown assailants in a slot he believes was intended to end his life.

Speaking to Mubende post Ndagizimana revealed that he has spent 3 days in hospital suffering From hand dislocation, chest pain and other injuries on his body got during the altercation with the big number of unidentified assailants.

He says the killers plotted an attacked on him at around 6:50pm on his way back home after a land meeting attended by people from three villages including, Butolo, kyedicyo, kicuculo and others who are all fighting for their land located at the Chinese farm of Formasa.

Steven says he fell into the trees that were planned on the road and then the men who were holding sticks broke out of the forest and started beating him as they drag him in to the forest.

He explained that because it was not too late he was able to be rescued by the boda boda drivers who turned on their lights and then the assailants fled.

” when I fell down the men came from the forest, started beating me as they drag me in to the forest, the motorcycle came out and when they saw the lights they fled and that’s how the boda boda helped me” He said.

“If the boda boda didn’t come they would have killed me, the boda boda is my god because now I would have been dead. I only damaged my arm and with small pain into my chest. I have been in hospital for three days” He added.

Steven says he is recovering now and has been discharged from the hospital.

However, he remained wondering what might have caused the attacks sighting possible attacks could be as a result of his popularity or whether the reason could be due to him advocating for people to stay on their land.
