Musician Dax Vibez has consistently released hit songs for almost two years now.

He started with “Belief” in 2023, when he featured Swangz Avenue’s Vinka, and has never looked back.

Last year, Dax Vibez topped the charts with his song “Tabbu,” featuring Ava Peace.

He started this year with a banger dubbed “At My Door.”

He then released “Sure,” featuring Azawi, and has maintained his stay at the top.

Media personality Canary Mugume believes he is Uganda’s top artist and deserves to be appreciated by all music lovers in the country.

“Dax Vibez is Uganda’s top musician. 2025,” he wrote on his X (formerly Twitter) handle.

It should be noted that Dax Vibez has already announced plans to stage his maiden concert this year on August 19th, taking place at Hotel Africana.

Rapper Recho Rey Breaks Norms: ‘Marriage and Kids Aren’t Part of My Journey’”

Local female rapper Mirembe Rachel, known as Recho Rey, has committed to never becoming pregnant or having children.

In a recent interview on a local radio show, the artist expressed that marriage does not appeal to her at all.

She feels the same way about having children. Recho Rey shared that she has never experienced any maternal instincts. While she wishes well for and respects all mothers, it is not something she has ever considered. She also mentioned that people have often told her she will eventually change her mind, but as she gets older, the idea becomes even less appealing to her.

“Honestly, I don’t see myself ever getting married because it’s not in my plans. I have no desire for it. It’s the same when someone asks if I’ll have kids. To be truthful, I have never had any nurturing instincts since I was young. I admire and respect those who choose to become parents, but it’s simply not something that interests me. Many people have suggested that I will outgrow this feeling, but the more I mature, the less attractive it seems to me,” she stated.

However, social media users quickly pointed out that fellow artist Sheebah Karungi shares a similar mindset, despite currently being a mother of one and often declaring that motherhood is the best gift she has ever received.

As a result, many believe it is only a matter of time before Recho Rey finds herself in a similar situation and looks back without regret.
