Stolen Cattle Recovered In A Toyota Super Custom in Kakumiro District

Kakumiro: Police in Kakumiro impounded a motor vehicle, UBD 356B a Toyota Super custom carrying suspected stolen cows.

The vehicle was intercepted between Kakindu and Kihuna along Hoima road following a tip-off from a resident.

The occupants fled, leaving behind three cows, one of which was dead.

A document discovered in the vehicle indicate that the cows originated from Kasangati in Wakiso.

However preliminary investigations show that the cows were stolen from Butema sub-county in Hoima district.

We are working with locals to identify the owner of the animals.
