Reigning champions Musaale Kiyuni will play Ssaabagabo Kasambya on the opening weekend of the Buweekula’s 2025 Luwekula Cup.
This will be the third time Musaale will play Ssaabagabo in the Luweekula Maggombolola Cup, including a 2-1 first-leg win at home and a dramatic unfinished match at Das Playground in Kasambya that was later rescheduled at a neutral playground (Kassana Playground), resulting in a zero-all draw.
Kiyuni claimed the Luwekula Cup title last year after beating Mumyuka Bageza 1-0 in the cup’s maiden final at Kasaana Playground.
The clash between two of this season’s title favourites will take place on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at 4:00 pm at Kiyuni Secondary School playground.

Rules and Regulations Governing Luweekula Cup 2025.
- No team will be allowed to play without a fully stamped album of 25 players maximum
- All playing teams must report on the pitch by 3:00 pm
- The kickoff time will be 4:00 pm after all verifications and there will be no match to be played past 5:00 pm
- There will be a fine of fifty thousand shillings (50,000/=) for the team that will report on the pitch past 4:30 pm
- Big League and Super League Players are not allowed to play in the Luweekula Cup
- Only five substitutes will be allowed
- All the demarcations of the pitch will be made by the hosting team in time
- The hosting team is responsible for the security on the ground.
- All team managers are responsible for the behavior and discipline of their players and supporters
- All games are going to be played under FIFA and FIFA football rules.
- Above all, the committee will be responsible for implementing the rules.
