A head of the much-anticipated charity football match aimed at raising funds for the “Save Nabu Fly Again” campaign scheduled for today Sunday, February 23, 2025, at Kasenyi playground at 3:00 pm, Mubende’s Leading Perfume Shop, Boom Scents have joined the cause to save celebrated footballer Nsubuga Martin Nabutono’s life
Nabutono is currently Bedridden and receiving treatment at Roswell Hospital in Kampala, battling serious Tetanus.
Every day Nabutono spends in the hospital, his bill mounts to shs 2,000,000/= exclusive medicine which is also approximately shs. 2M a week.
Now ahead of the anticipated football match between Buweekula and Buddu FC, Boom Scents has offered a helping hand of shs 200,000/= to the Organising Committee to help them in the Organisation of this Game.
According to Nagginda Asumpta, the head of promotions at Boom Scents, this was not a matter to think about but rather immediately offering their support to save a life.
“We as Boom Scents understand that quality life matters and per our slogan, ‘we ‘enhance the mood’. We believe quality life starts with healthy living. therefore, we didn’t need to think much about saving Nabutono. We just had to,” she said.
“It’s people who support us, that means we need them alive. We will always be available to offer our support to any charity-organized group to help people. This is the other way we give back to our people,” Asumpta revealed to Mubende Post.
This is not the first time Boom Scents has offered a hand in charity, Mubende’s Leading Perfume Shop lately were part of the NVA Mubende Charity Run in January buying over 20 running kits for their clients.
Boom Scents located at Mubende Main Street just off the Roundabout Heading to Police, deals in Designer Perfumes, Hard to find Perfumes, Oil Perfumes in plenty of varieties, Jewelries, Lotions, Watches, Body Mists, Body Spray, and Body Accessories.
Ebenezer Quality Ceramics and General Hardware have also supported the cause with 200,000/=, MP aspirant Deo Masembe with 40,000/=, and Kaz Lounge and Kitchen with 100,000/= among others.
The fundraising will continue today amidst the football match at Kasenyi Playground.
