Hajji Rajab Ssebulime who has been Buweekula Ssaza FC team manager contributed UGX 196,022,000 for the team during the 2024 season.
The report tabled by the Buweekula Ssaza FC organising Committee before Luweekula Owek: Andrew Mukasa Ssempija and his Lukiiko revealed that Hajji Rajab single-handedly contributed over UGX 196,022,000 for the team’s 2024 season.
Ssebulime as a spearheader was always in a position to take on any team financial crisis in the course to see the team succeed despite its failure in the Semifinals after losing 2-1 on aggregates against Kyaggwe.
Hajji Ssebulime’s huge expenditure on the team was visible during the signing of players and coaches.
He was also in a position to solve the match day allowances of players and coaches on both home and away games.
According to some of the members who were on the 2024 team committee, Hajji Ssebulime was always a person to run to in case of any financial crisis throughout the season.
However, all said, in the report, there are members of the Luweekula Lukiiko who are not convinced that Hajji Rajab Ssebulime injected all this money into the team and are not convinced with the total amount of UGX 445, 262,000 revealed in the report.
They believe money from gate collections is enough to run the team.
As per the reports, Ssabavubuka Bwale Tom has taken over the team Management role from Hajji Rajab Ssebulime for the 2025 season.
